Holy Cross Men's Rowing Concludes Season At IRAs
The College of the Holy Cross men's rowing team concluded the 2007-2008 season with three boats taking part in the Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship Regatta, held on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J. As a team, the Crusaders finished 34th out of 39 schools in the competition for the Ten Eyck Trophy, with three points. Washington won the Ten Eyck Trophy as the IRA national champion, with 214 points. The varsity eight posted a time of 5:59.370 in the fourth-level final to come in sixth. Georgetown won the fourth-level final with a time of 5:49.200, while Wisconsin took first place overall in the varsity eight, by winning the grand final in a time of 5:31.173. (more)

IRA Regatta To Be Broadcast
The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) is pleased to announce that a live audio broadcast of the 106th Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championship Regatta will be available on the internet from Thursday-Saturday, June 5-7. Stretch Internet, based in Mesa, Ariz., will be providing the platform for the audio streaming of the races. Holy Cross Announces Incoming Class
College of the Holy Cross head men's rowing coach Tom Sullivan has announced his incoming freshman class, which will be joining the team in the fall of 2008. Coach Sullivan and freshman coach Eddie Evans have added 10 individuals to next year's team. With the Crusaders graduating only three seniors this year, these 10 freshmen will join a large group of returning student-athletes as Holy Cross looks to contend with the top teams in the East.
